We are pleased to welcome Dr. Sarah Redding from the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging to the Salemtowne team.  Dr. Redding, Board Certified in Geriatrics and Family Medicine, will serve independent living residents alongside Salemtowne Medical Director, Dr. Maria Iruela, also Board Certified in Geriatrics.

In addition to serving as a physician/researcher at the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging and Salemtowne, Dr. Redding is also a physician at Peace Haven Family Practice.  Dr. Redding completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware.  She received her M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.  Dr. Redding completed a two-year Geriatrics Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.  She is enjoying the change of pace that is a benefit of living in Winston-Salem.  She is settling in with her new dog Toby, an Airedale she rescued after moving here.
