Open Positions

Welcome Center Attendant

  • Part time weekends and prn (as needed)

Presents positive first image of Salemtowne through effective and efficient communications with residents, visitors and staff. Maintains and secures all areas of Salemtowne by reporting any maintenance/security issues. Monitors fire alarm system, maintains vehicle log and monitors traffic, gives directions, and any locking of doors.



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1 - 2 years expereincec


  • Saturday 10:00 - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; good customer service and time management skills; be detail-oriented; demonstrate teamwork; have a strong work ethic and be computer literate
Prefer one year experience as a receptionist in a busy office setting.


  • High School Diploma/GED

Floor Tech

  • Part time weekends 7 am - 7 pm
  • Full time Monday - Friday 3 pm - 12 am

Ensures facility safety, sanitation and appearance; maintains high levels of facility cleanliness including vacuuming, extracting, spot cleaning, mopping, etc; assists residents with moving furniture / belongings; supports other departments by setting up and breaking down for meetings / special events;  inter-departmental teamwork a must! 



  • HS diploma/GED; prefer 1-2 years general facility housekeeping with specific training


  • Part time weekends and prn (as needed)

Transports independent living residents in a timely, safe, and courteous manner to activities that occur away from the facility; assists residents getting on/off the vehicle; ensure all supplies needed for an event are transported with residents; ensure that mini vans and bus are kept in good working order; maintains cleanliness of van/bus; delivers campus mail to independent living residents; may also drive residents to medical appointments.


  • Valid driver's license; CDL with P endorsement; 10 years good driving record
  • Good communication and time management skills; customer service oriented; self directed; safety conscious; technical knowledge; flexibility; computer skills


Encourage the independent performance of residents activities of daily living (ADLs) to the extent each individual's condition permits and provides assistance with residents ADLs as needed (feeding, dressing, bathing, mouth care, etc); Supports individual care plans; follows care plans; reports/documents status changes; Uses PPE and follows infection control procedures; Keeps skills up to date by attending mandatory in-services and maintaining C.N.A. certification by pursuing continuing education


  • CNAI certification in the state of NC

RN Supervisor

  • Part time


  • Licensed RN in state of NC
  • License must be in good standing
  • 3-5 years experience as a nurse supervisor (prefer long term care experience)
  • Leadership skills; communication skills; motivating/developing staff; good judgment; organizational & problem solving skills


  • PRN (as needed). Days and hours will vary.


  • 2-3 years’ experience cleaning houses
  • Teamwork; customer focused; safety conscious; strong work ethic; OSHA compliance standards

LPN Team Leader

  • 12 hour shifts available


  • LPN nursing license in state of NC
  • License must be in good standing
  • Teamwork; customer focused; detail oriented; safety conscious; excellent communication skills
