VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Salemtowne believes volunteering is a wonderful way not only to give back but also an opportunity to grow in mind, body, and spirit. Salemtowne Residents love to volunteer both on campus and in the larger Winston-Salem community. Residents can find opportunities to fit their interests, a sampling of our opportunities include:

• Serving on the Resident Council
• Serving on a committee, such as the Garden committee where residents oversee the community garden plot
• Staffing the gift shops
• Assisting residents to activities
• Decorating for Christmas
• Participating in Salemtowne Singers or Chimers

Salemtowne residents also make a large impact on the greater Winston-Salem community volunteering in local non-profit agencies, such as Senior Services, Hospice, Reynolda House, plus many others. Through volunteering Salemtowne residents discover opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute their talents.
