Life at Salemtowne is filled with possibilities …from a peaceful walk around campus to a night out at the symphony. Our residents regularly enjoy the culture of the region including community theatre productions, Old Salem Museums, and Reynolda Gardens.
From shopping excursions and local festivals to sampling new and noted restaurants, groups regularly venture out to sample the delights of Winston-Salem and surrounding communities. Regular outings bring residents to unique places of interest across the state to experience music, history, and heritage.
On campus, residents may choose to participate in fitness classes, serve on one of several resident committees, or simply enjoy a game of Bridge or billiards. Others may choose to join the Book Club, take in a weekly screening of a classic film, or entertain their grandchildren at the indoor heated pool.
Special events bring performers and local artists and their work to Salemtowne. Writers and local experts from Wake Forest University and other community organizations present lectures and seminars.
