alemtowne offers prospective residents a wide variety of independent living options in both cottages and apartments. Independent living provides residents the freedom of their current lifestyle in a maintenance free environment. Residents are relieved of normal day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, home maintenance and yard work.
Cottage Living
 Many residents enjoy the comfort and security of home-style living when they choose to live in one of Salemtowne's cottages. Nestled in three distinct neighborhoods, cottage residents enjoy the feel of a single-family home built in the style of historic Old Salem.
Cottages are a short walk to campus activities and services. Each cottage has at least two bedrooms, two baths, large living room, kitchen, and carport. Some of our cottages have a study and/or a sunroom. Some are attached in a duplex-style construction, while most are free-standing. The simple layouts of the cottage floor plans are well designed and afford residents opportunities for personal selections to enhance
their home.
There are nine unique floor plans ranging in size from 1,172 to 1,817 square feet.
