Independent living provides residents the opportunity to choose the lifestyle they prefer in a maintenance free environment. Residents are relieved of normal day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, home maintenance and yard work. Cottage residents also have the option to include a meal plan in Salemtowne’s Dorcas Dining Room.

Salemtowne's cottages are nestled in three distinct neighborhoods on an attractively landscaped 114 acres. Cottages are a short walk to campus activities and services. Each spacious cottage has at least two bedrooms and two baths, plus a patio or deck to enjoy North Carolina’s appealing climate.
