COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Salemtowne residents and staff are strongly committed to serving others in the larger community. Residents work to make life better for others through volunteerism, financial contributions, educational services and programs and community building activities. As an organization Salemtowne strives to be a good community partner.
Here are some examples of Salemtowne’s involvement:
- Hosts annual Bridge Tournament benefiting different organizations each year. Past recipients have been:
- Assisted in the development of and hosts meetings for the Congregational Nurse and Health Council of Forsyth County.
- Hosts annual benefit dedicated to the Meals on Wheels program of Senior Services.
- Outreach projects to local seniors through Family Services or Senior Services or children through the WS/FC School System.
- Host bi-monthly art shows for local artists and supports local BOOKMARKS book festival.
- Management staff are members of civic organizations, sit on non-profit boards, or are active volunteers in the community or their church.
