Since 1972, when Salemtowne first opened its doors, contributions have enabled us to continue the mission our founders started so long ago - to provide a community where older adults receive care, security, and comfort in a Christian environment. Through generous gifts, we can and will keep this dream alive. With your support, we are able to ensure that high quality care and service are always the foundation of our ministry to each and every resident. Enhancing and preserving this legacy is paramount. Over the past 36 years, Salemtowne has provided financial assistance, through the General Endowment, for residents who have outlived their resources. All residents of Salemtowne receive the same quality of care regardless of their ability to pay. Since its inception, a total of $11,645,200 has been provided to those who needed financial support. Last year alone, $620,000 in financial assistance helped residents in need.
