Open Positions

Administrative Assistant

  • 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday

Provides office support (clerical/secretarial) and services for the Director of Life Enrichment and the department; greets visitors; schedules appointments, responds to telephone inquiries, drafts letters and documents; takes minutes; data entry, mail distribution; assists with planning meetings and/or events; publishes monthly calendar of events/posts signs; maintains inventory of materials/forms; establishes positive and professional rapport with residents, associates and guests.


  • 2 years administrative experience in business/office environment; knowledge of Word and Excel; typing/word processing and high computer competency

Executive Chef/Production Manager

  • days/hours vary; weekends and holidays required too

Supervises, trains and directs the preparation of all foods (including special diets) by creating and planning menus, recipes and food production sheets; supervises kitchen staff by preparing work schedules, maintaining attendance records, assigning staff workloads; ensures high quality meals are prepared, maintained and presented for serving to residents, staff and guests; prepares production schedules to ensure that daily production is of sufficient quantity; ensures clean and sanitary work areas and equipment by following guidelines set forth by State, Federal and County departments of Health; conducts random daily inspections of production work areas, utensils and cookware.


  • Required: 7+ years of experience in management of kitchen operations and direct supervision of kitchen staff; trade school training preferred; BS degree a plus

Saute Grill Cook

  • days/hours will vary - must be able to work weekends and holidays too


  • Requirements: 4-5 years grill and saute culinary experience cooking in a full service environment; attention to detail and presentation; food safety is a priority; experience in menu design; ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.

RN Supervisor

  • Part-time 7am-7pm every Saturday & Sunday
  • On call rotation required; fill in during week as needed


  • Licensed RN in state of NC
  • License must be in good standing
  • 3-5 years experience as a nurse supervisor (prefer long term care experience)
  • Leadership skills; communication skills; motivating/developing staff; good judgment; organizational & problem solving skills
