  • Days/hours vary - position is PRN (as needed); may work 1-2 days a week or may work 4-5 days a week

Transports independent living residents in a timely, safe, and courteous manner to activities that occur away from the facility; assists residents getting on/off the vehicle; ensure all supplies needed for an event are transported with residents; ensure that mini vans and bus are kept in good working order; maintains cleanliness of van/bus; delivers campus mail to independent living residents; may also drive residents to medical appointments.


  • Valid driver's license; CDL with P endorsement; 10 years good driving record
  • Good communication and time management skills; customer service oriented; self directed; safety conscious; technical knowledge; flexibility; computer skills

Dining Attendant (IL)

  • 11am-7:30pm; must be able to work all days of the week and be flexible

Provides wait staff services for independent living dining rooms and catering events on campus in a professional and friendly manner in accordance with guidelines for wait staff etiquette.  Takes orders, enters orders into POS, ensures meal selections are delivered accurately and in a timely manner; performs pre-bussing services and post meal breakdowns; set up/clean up for catering events; maintains clean and sanitary work areas. 


  • HS diploma or GED; prefer 3-5 years experience in food service industry; catering background a plus
  • Must demonstrate pleasant and professional customer interaction; detail oriented; POS system; self directed; good communication skills

Nutrition Care Manager (CDM)

  • Business hours are 8:30am-5pm (hours may vary)

Performs clinical nutrition assessment/screening for healthcare residents (SNF and AL) on admission and as per policy/regulation; interview with resident/family, communication with foodservice and healthcare team, and medical record documentation; develops a nutrition care plan for each resident and participates with the team to implement, monitor and evaluate the care plan; collaborates with the Registered Dietitian regarding at high nutritional risk and monitors for high risk parameters. 


  • BS in Nutrition
  • 3 years' experience in a skilled nursing facility, dietetics, or food service industry

Registered Dietitian

  • Business hours are 8:30am-5pm (hours may vary)

Directs nutrition care of all residents in the healthcare center and assisted living by performing/supervising clinical charting, executing timely care planning and dietary reviews of charts; attends care plan meetings; consults with residents and families; assists with formulation of and giving final approval to all menus and spreadsheets; executes plan of care in conjunction with Care Plan Coordinator and Director of Dining Services; ensures Salemtowne meets all regulatory compliance issues as set forth by DSS, DFS, and OSHA. 


  • BS degree and licensure as a Registered Dietitian
  • 3 years as a RD preferably in health care establishments

Move-In Coordinator

  • Business hours are 8:30am-5pm; could require some evenings/weekends

Supports the Admissions/Marketing office by assuring residents have a smooth transition into the community, assists with the sales process, and administrative support for the department.  Will also:  help residents select renovations, work out details of move, complete walk-through, greet residents, arrange new resident gifts, prepare paperwork; field phone calls, call perspective residents, tours/presentations, set appointments, mail packets, maintain files, submit reports; follow up with residents after move-in; assist with events.


  • BS in Social Work, Gerontology, Marketing or Communications
  • 1-3 years experience in administrative work, non-profit or marketing
  • must have strong communication, customer service and time management skills; detail oriented; organized; strong work ethic; strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

LPN Team Leader

  • Full time - 2nd shift; and Full time combination 1st/2nd shift
  • Mon-Fri 2nd shift 2:45pm-11:15pm ; 1st shift is 6:45am-3:15pm
  • Works every 3rd weekend


  • LPN nursing license in state of NC
  • License must be in good standing
  • Teamwork; customer focused; detail oriented; safety conscious; excellent communication skills
