Accreditation/Licensing
Salemtowne is accredited
by the CARF-CCAC and is licensed by the State of North Carolina.
Services
Salemtowne serves its residents through
a continuum of housing, services and health care. Independent
living is for residents who are active and can take care of
themselves in their own homes or apartments, but want the security
that a retirement community can offer. Assisted living provides
a minimal level of care for residents that may include daily
meals, personal and other supportive services, medication administration, health care
as well as 24-hour licensed nursing staff. Health care is for residents who need
skilled nursing care and/or substantial long-term assistance.
Religious Affiliation
Salemtowne, while affiliated
with the Moravian Church, is an ecumenical community, open
to people of all faiths.
Community Service
Salemtowne
is committed to serving the people of the Piedmont through
good works and charitable activities. Annually Salemtowne provides
approximately $500,000 in financial assistance to residents
in need, community outreach and education to the broader community. We also support a variety of programs including Meals-on-Wheels,
the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, the American Heart Association, the Samaritan Soup
Kitchen and National Senior Health and Fitness Day, among others. |
